Greetings, Upper Valley riders and residents, from The Ranger!
The Ranger, the annual bike event at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds, will take place on Sunday, June 11. Please be aware that on June 11th you will see many cyclists on the roads in Tunbridge, Strafford, Sharon and in Norwich around Beaver Meadow, Mitchell Brook and Chapel Hill roads.
We are looking to recruit some volunteers to serve as course marshalls on June 11.
Safety has never been more at the forefront of our planning and preparations than it is now. We are committed to having course marshalls at every key intersection on the Ranger course this year. We are looking for a handful of volunteers to assist rider traffic, promote rider safety and rules of the road.
Key intersections needed: in front of Coburns store in South Strafford, intersections of Mine Road/Turnpike Road and 132 in South Strafford, and Monarch Road and Kelsey Mountain Road in Tunbridge. We have a few other roles we're looking to fill as well.
If you can help, please check out the SIGN UP GENIUS to plug yourself into one of these spots. In exchange for your help we offer a free event hat and lunch from Brownsville Butcher and Pantry. If you'd like priority registration for 2024 we can set you up with that as well.
