Stand Up for Recovery is a lively evening of comedy and a silent auction (online now through the event at Main St. Landing in Burlington on June 8th. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a great night out--with lots of laughs--while at the same time supporting a vibrant recovery center working for a more sustainable community. The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County presents the amazing Tina Friml (returning to Vermont from NYC for this gig!), plus Tracy Dolan, Max Higgins, and Liam Welsh. There are two showtimes: 7:00 (almost sold out!) and 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general seating or $40 for "advocate" seating, where you can support the Turning Point with an extra donation, and you'll get a special limited "I stand up for recovery" coffee mug.
