The first meeting of the ARPA Advisory committee will take place this Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 6:30 pm in the Lincoln Town Office. The purpose of the Committee is to determine appropriate uses of the ARPA funds allocated to Lincoln. The Committee will recommend to the Selectboard projects and dollar amounts the Committee determines merit the use of ARPA funding. The Selectboard will make the final decision on the use of ARPA funds.
Committee members are: Barb Rainville, Bethany Hanf, Betsy Graziadei, Dennis Filion, Mary Simmons, Michael Dennison and Nate Reynolds. Jackie Weyrauch is an alternate and I am the ex-officio non-voting member of the committee. I will facilitate this meeting.
The agenda will be posted at Burnham Hall, the Lincoln Library and the Town Office. Hopefully, we can put the agenda online at the town website before the meeting.
This first meeting is an in person meeting only. No decisions about projects will be made at this meeting. This meeting will give committee members an opportunity to learn about ARPA, where Lincoln is at in making a determination and the committee's duties. All are welcome to attend.
Requests for ARPA funds must be submitted by July 1, 2023.
* ARPA is the American Rescue Plan Act passed by Congress in 2021.
