Theme: 'Pet Art on Parade' Celebrating Vermont's artists inspired by the animals of Vermont!
Artistic Special Events:
The Parade: Create an art inspired float or walk in the parade in a costume. Represent the cartoon, abstract,
pop or pointillism art genre and you could win a $50 prize!
People Create Art: Muralist Christine Nockels will create a beautiful Pet Parade mural outline for inspired
parade goers to fill in and embellish upon.
Animals Create Art: Pets are artistic too! Your pet is invited to leave their hoof, paw or claw print to create a
unique keepsake picture or ornament using colorful non-toxic ink on wood or paper.
Wearable Art: Danelle's Face Painting will be there from 9am to 1pm to transform you into your favorite
animal!
Animal Art Exhibit: Artists are invited to display their pet or animal inspired artwork. To participate, email
stjpetparade.com and bring your art piece to the Pet Boutique on June 3 rd for display. One lucky artist will win
the People's Choice Grand Prize: a priceless photoshoot with their favorite pet by Master Photographer and
fellow artist, Barry Hayes.
