Join us on Saturday June 3rd for Art on the Trail, a FREE gathering to explore the world of nature and art journaling in honor of National Trails Day (June 3rd) and International Nature Journaling Week (the first week of June 2023). Artist and scientific illustrator Charon Henning will guide participants in a discovery of the wonders in our own backyard through observation and sketching on the Bristol Trail Network starting at 10:00 at the Coffin Factory trail. At 11:30 we will break for lunch (you can bring your own or head up the hill into town to support our local eateries), after which we will be back on the trail to journal until 2pm (or as long as you want). All ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. This is a fantastic way to connect with nature in Bristol and slow down as you spend time on the trail, closely observing the wonders that are all around you. We will have some materials to share but we recommend that you bring a sketchbook with pens and/or pencils to begin your journal. The event is free but please email Charon directly to register (oddangelllc@gmail.com). We look forward to getting outside and sketching with you in this first of several Art on the Trail events this summer with Charon Henning!
