Green Things Growing's Garden Seedling Sale will wrap up this weekend on Saturday from 10am-2pm at 370 Richard Woolcutt Rd, Wolcott (just off Rte 12 in ELMORE). With our short growing season, get your best chance at success with locally grown, hardy, healthy garden seedlings: annual veggies/herbs/flowers and now some perennial herbs/flowers as well as some houseplants and hanging baskets. Grown from only non-GMO, mostly organic seeds in VT Compost Company soil products in a home greenhouse, these babies have had an infancy with minimal stress (but not overly pampered, either), no travel, and no chemical applications. Prices are: $3.75/3.5" pot (most plants are this size), $5.50/generous six pack, $7/6" perennials, and soil blocks of cucurbits (cukes/squash) are 75 cents! Larger items' prices vary. Please park on the road and bring a tray/box for plant transport, if possible; cash or check accepted; hope to see you there!
