Speaking of bears, the last in the July series of educational programs organized and presented by the Salisbury Conservation Commission and the Lake Dunmore/Fern Lake Association is entitled "Living with Bears". Forrest Hammond, bear biologist for Vermont Fish and Wildlife will be speaking at 7 PM on Wednesday, July 30th at the Salisbury Congregational Church in the center of the village. The presentation is free and refreshments are provided. You may have heard "Frost" on VPR within the last couple weeks.
