Good grief. Time is running out for Congress to pass a measure that will raise the debt ceiling.
Thankfully, our Rep Becca Balint understands that raising the debt limit is not about new spending; it is about paying for previous choices policymakers legislated. It's a must-pass bill or we're all in big trouble. This should not come with concessions.
Join us Thursday anytime from 4—6pm at the Moretown Library (which is housed in the Moretown Town Hall) to do a very quick thank you postcard to Becca for being our champion to save Social Security and Medicare!
