Yard Sale to benefit the Williston Food Shelf on Saturday the 27th at 8475 Williston Rd. Our long time friends, Chico Lager and Yvette Pigeon are clearing out 43 years of accumulated stuff from their garage, greenhouse, garden shed, attic and basement. I had a preview today and it is an amazing collection including a lot for gardeners, including over a hundred terracotta and ceramic pots of all shapes and sizes, plant supports, propagation trays, tools, an original Garden Way Cart and grow lights. There is also a large selection of kitchen items, vases, wicker baskets, backpacks, luggage, bookshelves, x-country skis, a solid oak rocking chairs, and other small pieces of furniture. Also some special items from Ben & Jerry's and Hunt's, Burlington's legendary nightclub. 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the Williston Community Food Shelf. The sale will start at 8 AM and continue thru the day. Cash sales or checks which can be made payable directly to the Food Shelf. For safety, please park a short walk away on Johnson Lane or in the field across the road, which will be clearly marked. Please also take care when walking across or busy Williston Road.
