The Barre Merchants and the Barre Lions Club have teamed up together to hold a Poker "Walk" to raise funds for the Lions Club Sight and Hearing Fund. The Poker "Walk" will be held on Friday, August 1st from 4-6:30. Participants pay $5 for each hand and sign in at Copy World. They then bring their card to all the participating merchants: K's Bridal and Formal, Last time Around Antiques, Next Chapter Bookstore, Maureen's Sweet Treats, Nelson's ACE Hardware, Bosivert's Shoe Repair,and Morse Block Deli. After they get their card stamped at each business they return to Copy World to get a poker hand. The best hand will win half of the pot. No purchase is necessary at the stores to win, but we know you won't be able to resist. This is a great way to support our local businesses and the Lions Club.
