New Haven Community Pollinator Garden – Free class on Composting – Sat., May 27, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Located at the New Haven Congregational Church (91 Town Hill Rd.), fellowship hall downstairs (handicapped accessible).
Vermont Master Composter Abigail Ringger will be giving a presentation on zero-waste and composting. There will be an informative slide presentation covering three topics: 1) Why Zero Waste? 2)Why Composting? 3) How Can I Compost? Come prepared to ask questions. In addition, she will have a trash sorting game and activity pages for children, so this event is ideal for everyone! Refreshments will be served and free plants given out.
