Vermont's own best-selling author Stephen Kiernan talks about his new novel "The Glass Chateau" inspired by artist Marc Chagall at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 12 at the Worthen Library, featured as the library's 16th Annual Summer Author Talk. Kiernan is the author of five fiction books including Universe of Two, The Curiosity, The Baker's Secret and The Hummingbird; and two nonfiction books, Last Rights and Authentic Patriotism. Kiernan's new novel, inspired by Chagall, is "a novel of hope, healing, and the redemptive power of art, set against the turmoil of post-World War II France" and has just been released. Books will be available for sale.
