Oy! The days are just flying by. I meant to post something about this show on Monday, and here it is Saturday morning. Does that ever happen to you?
Anyway, on the chance that this will make it into a FPF mailing before the event actually happens, let me encourage you and everyone you know to come out for the Villalobos Brothers at Chandler this evening.
There's a community potluck beforehand, starting at 6:00, and Vermont Humanities Council will be leading a discussion of "The Most Costly Journey", a collection of stories (presetned graphically) about the varied experiences of Vermont's migrant farm workers. I haven't read the book, but I'm really looking forward to learning more about it.
Then at 7:30 the Villalobos Brothers will take the stage. These guys have played some pretty impressive venues (like Carnegie Hall, The Lincoln Center, The Apollo theatre) and this evening they're playing the best venue of all, Chandler Center for the Arts right here in Randolph.
That's why I'm excited. I hope you, and everyone you know, will be there too!
