Melany Kahn, author of Mason Goes Mushrooming, will be at the Jeudevine Memorial Library on Friday, May 26th at 1:00 for a presentation about foraging for mushrooms. Melany, recently interviewed on Vermont Public, is a third-generation mushroom hunter. In this first-of-its-kind children's book, the main character Mason teaches us it's never too early to learn and never too late to start foraging. We are thrilled that the illustrator, Ellen Korbonski, will also be in attendance. The two will talk about their collaboration on the book's creation and answer your questions about book making, mushroom foraging and cooking up the feast.
