Heather Hardt, who grew up in Vermont and lived in Salisbury for many years, will be back on May 26th to share her wild plant knowledge with us once again. Meet at the library at 5pm. Come along and learn what local plants can be used for food, medicine and craft from someone who has been doing the same for over 50 years! The walk will take about an hour after which we will return to the library for a sampling of wild harvested tea while we look at the library's books on the subject and answer questions. The walk will happen, rain or shine and will be canceled in the case of a thunderstorm. We'll start the walk at 5:00pm. Remember to come prepared with protection from ticks and mosquitoes.
Pre-register please by calling 802-352-4198, emailing salisburypubliclibrary@gmail.com, or stop in at the library!
