AT THE POLLINATOR GARDEN: 11:30 Charlotte Albers will tell you what's going on with the plants and insects that are so critical to our environment.
IN THE BIG TENT: 12:30 Steve Shepard, one of the authors of "Our Better Nature: Hopeful Excursions in Saving Biodiversity" will talk about the loss of biodiversity and ecosystems, and the resources and actions available to protect biodiversity.
AROUND THE GARDENS
MEET THE CURATORS: At the Lilacs, the Rhododendrons, the Cary Garden, and the Pollinator Garden. They will be at the gardens to chat with you, answer questions, and tell you about the collections.
FUN EVENTS FOR ALL: Watch the Plein Air Painters at work, take a Tractor Ride, tour the Woodland Walk, learn about Invasive Jumping Worms, and enjoy ukulele music by the Women of UVM Ladies of the Uke.
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
Scavenger Hunt, Seed Planting, Coloring, Croquet.
Face Painting (11:00-1:00).
