The new Lions club is meeting in South Burlington on Wednesday, May 17. Social starting 6:30, and meeting at 7:00. All are welcome.

Lions is the largest volunteer service organization worldwide, and the Burlington – South Burlington – Shelburne Lions chapter is forming to serve local needs. Anyone interested in making our community better – and have fun doing so – is invited to join!

Key areas of service for Lions include improving the local environment, eyesight and hearing, diabetes, childhood cancer, and food insecurity – plus local community needs that club members wish to address – all on a neighborly level. Next service projects and chartering the club will be the focus of the meeting.

This month, the club will meet at the Allard Square Building on Market Street.
