With traditional book clubs there's always the scramble to finish the assigned book and the pressure to have something smart to say. At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. Bring whatever book you're reading and come chat, have a drink, and read companionably with other book lovers in the Burlington, VT area!

Location in Burlington is TBD depending on weather and will be announced within 48 hours of the event -- we've met at Zero Gravity for past events, but we'll likely try the waterfront if it's nice out! Will announce the final location on the Facebook event.

Here's how this will go down:
-1:00-1:30 - Grab a drink, get settled, + chat with the group!
-1:30-2:30 - Quiet reading time (this is essentially a flash mob of readers!)
-2:30-3:00 - Stick around to chat more. Or, keep reading. Or, feel free to head out! Choose your own adventure, this is whatever you want it to be
