Rutland Master Gardeners presents an herbal salve making with Erika Bodin. Salve is a topical preparation made of herbal-infused oils combined with beeswax. We'll discuss several accessible herbs and their beneficial properties for skincare before blending a salve for dry, sensitive skin to take home, perfect to apply after a long day of gardening.

Erika is in their final year of the Clinical Herbalist Training Program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism. From beekeeping and exploring woodland ephemerals to growing medicinal foods and herbs, Erika is excited to connect people with plants and practices that support their health, resilience and joy.
