CHRIST CHURCH BUHS JAZZ BAND CONCERT, THURSDAY, JUNE 1
7 PM ON THE CHRIST CHURCH LAWN
The Christ Church Guilford Society is planning outdoor events this summer to be held on the lawn of Christ Church across from the Guilford Country Store in Algiers. The first will be a free outdoor jazz band concert by the BUHS Jazz Band.
Bring your blanket or chair at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 1. Relax, bring kids, enjoy the music, and congratulate retiring band director Steve Rice on his long career as an educator and performer. The band will play favorite music they have been playing this last year. Refreshments will be served by the Guilford Country Store.
We will also explain the reconstruction work being done on our classic 1817 church and offer guests a peek inside the historic sanctuary while the building is closed for repairs.
