The Village of Jeffersonville water operators will be Flushing Hydrants during the days of May 16th – 18th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. While we are flushing, you may encounter low to no water pressure for short amounts of time. You will likely see discolored water coming from your taps for no more than a couple days. The purpose of flushing hydrants is to remove sediment that has settled on the bottom of the pipes. This will help to ensure excellent water quality. It's also important to make sure the hydrants are working properly. Most systems around the State of Vermont flush hydrants in the spring and fall. Thank you for your understanding while we conduct this regularly scheduled maintenance.
