Take Back the Night Montpelier Event – May 13th
The Clarina Howard Nichols Center's Take Back the Night event in Morrisville scheduled for April 21st was cancelled due to safety concerns. We have decided to not reschedule that event, but we are excited to join our friends at Mosaic Vermont and Central Vermont youth for their Take Back the Night event on Saturday May 13th. We hope to see you there!
Take Back the Night is a global movement that started in the mid 1970's to raise awareness about sexual violence, make space for survivors' voices to be heard, and demand an end to gender based violence. Organized by youth, with support from Mosaic Vermont, this will be an afternoon-into-evening series of happenings to raise community awareness about sexual violence and show solidarity with survivors.
Come to one or all of these events on Saturday May 13th in Montpelier. Everyone is welcome!
