At Girls on the Run we inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind! Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities, and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness.

Each season culminates in a non competitive 5K where participants, family, and friends come together to celebrate all that they accomplished and cross the finish line together! This year's 5K will be held at the Champlain Valley Expo on Saturday, June 3rd. In order to make the event as safe and joyous as possible we need ~150 volunteers to help with everything from equipment setup to face painting. We also have opportunities to help with event setup on Friday, June 2nd.
