Please join us for our monthly shape-note singing:
Sunday, May 14, 1:00 to 3:00 pm
McCullough / Mitchell Green Lounge
Old Chapel Way, Middlebury College
~~~~~~~
All mothers, grandmothers, and children of mothers are cordially invited to join us in celebration our mothers. Without them, we wouldn't be here!
Extra verses written by Pete Seeger?! Yes indeed, he wrote some extraordinary extra verses for Old Hundred (SH 49t). They're in Rise Up Singing, (46t). I'll bring copies for us to try out.
~~~~~~~
We sing from the Sacred Harp song book (fasola.org). Loaner books are available. Our sessions are free and open to all. No experience is required. No auditions or rehearsals. We emphasize participation, not performance.
Directions: Mitchell Green Lounge is on the top floor of the McCullough Student Center on Old Chapel Road at Middlebury College. It is accessible by stairs and elevator. Parking is available at adjacent parking lots. Enter from Route 125/College St. or Route 30/S. Main St.
