Water mains must be routinely flushed to remove sediment in the pipelines. Since it may be cloudy following the process, please allow water to run for about 5 minutes before using it. Hydrant flushing will take place between 9:30pm and 6am, starting May 7th through May 12th, because flushing times vary per water main, it is difficult to announce when and where the flushing will take place for the day of the week. We will do our best to update via FPF and the towns Facebook page, but give no guarantees as to where crews will be flushing. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Tonight, May 8th, Flushing crews will continue up Rt 66 and finish in the Fish Hill area. Then they will proceed out Park St., Wallace Hill, Prince St. and Start on School St.
