Tuesday the 9 of May at 6:30 pm there will be a test of the emergency warning system in the event of a catastrophic breach in Chittenden Dam. We are not sure if the sirens that were installed in Chittenden will be able to be herd in all parts or some parts of the town.
At this same time the Rutland City's fire horn will be used as well in this test
Again this is a test and no emergency will exist at that time.
