Ahead of its regular 7PM meeting (see separate post), the Brandon selectboard will meet at 6PM to announce the names of candidates interested in the open selectboard seat, but primarily for the purpose of an executive session to consider letters of interest in that seat.
At time of submitting this post to FPF (3PM Friday), known candidates, in order of receipt of their applications, are Doug Bailey, Ralph Ethier, Heather Fjeld Nelson, Samantha Stone, and Marielle Blais. The board may choose to interview all of them, one or more of them, or none of them, as it deems advisable in making its choice.
Public comment is welcome during the open / non-executive part of the 6PM special meeting, and at the 7PM regular meeting to follow.
