As the end of the school year approaches, I will be offering a hands-on, cookie and cupcake decorating workshop for kids around the ages of 8-12 in the community. This workshop will include frosting cupcakes, rolling out and shaping cookie dough, icing cookies, and decorating with many sprinkles. It will be lots of fun, and also one way that I will be fundraising to attend a semester-long traveling program that takes place in Southern Africa. With this program I will be learning about the land, history, and culture through academic subjects and many forms of exploration. It's very important to me because it is an opportunity to push myself outside of my comfort zone and hopefully learn a lot about myself and the rest of the world in the process. The workshops will take place on June 3rd (10-11:30am) and June 10th (9-10:30am) at the one and only Richmond Community Kitchen. To sign up, please click on the link below to reserve a spot.
