The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service this week on Sunday at 4:30 pm at St. John's in the Mountains Episcopal Church will be lead by the UU Rev. Barbara Threet. Her service will be on the separation of church and state, and our religious ancestors' role in that process. Given that the state Senate of Texas, in the past week, has passed a bill mandating that every classroom prominently display the Ten Commandments, and that there be time set aside for prayer and Bible study for both pupils and staff during school hours, the separation of church and state continues to blur!
