Members and friends of the Barre Community Gardeners Alliance are putting together a colorful float, celebrating our collective heritage of self-sufficiency and health through gardens. If you want to jump on the band wagon with the message of increasing food security, join us on Saturday! Give out locally saved seeds and seed bombs, carry magic flower wands, wear cardboard vegetables and paper mache produce, and more. We've got the materials all you need to do is show up. Feel free to be creative and deck yourself out in a garden themed costume. Parade line up is at 12:30pm at the BOR, so come by at least 30-60 minutes beforehand. Kids are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
