In commemoration of what the Palestinian people call the "Nakba", when in 1948, they were driven from their homes and massacred by the thousands by the Israeli military, Vermonters for Justice in Palestine, the Episcopal Peace Fellowship of Burlington, and the Green Mountain Solidarity with Palestine will show the film Seeing Through the Wall. The film follows a group of Americans, led by a Vermont rabbi, as they traveled to Israel and Palestine in 2016 to see what life is like for Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and in East Jerusalem. The event is free and will be held at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center, 60 Lake Street, Burlington starting at 3:30 PM.
