Would you like to learn how to clean, straighten and repair gravestones? The Glover Cemetery Commissioners are hosting a hands-on Work Bee for anyone interested. The first work bee will be held on Saturday, June 10th at the Westlook Cemetery. We have also scheduled a work bee on Saturday, July 8th at West Glover Cemetery, Saturday, August 12th at Andersonville Cemetery and Saturday, September 9th at French Cemetery. We will supply the cleaning solution, if you will supply the enthusiasm to learn and participate. Please bring gloves, a shovel, soft brushes, a plastic putty knife and plenty of water. Also, drinking water for yourself, snacks and a picnic lunch if you'd like.
