The Richmond Historical Society is gearing up for a busy Summer/Fall season at the Round Church. Visitor Season begins on Memorial Day weekend. And on June 25, the 2023 ROUND CHURCH CONCERT SERIES gets underway with a performance by THE TENDERBELLIES. We'll need lots of volunteers to help make these activities and events successful.
So the Round Church is having a pre-season Open House from 10 am to noon on Saturday, May 20, for those who want to look around, find out more about the upcoming season and consider volunteering.
Volunteer opportunities include serving as greeters or parking guides for the concert series, acting as RHS host at weddings, or becoming a Round Church guide. RHS volunteer coordinators Meg Fugate and Martha Turner will on be hand during the Open House to answer questions and give mini-orientation tours. If you're already a Round Church volunteer or have been so in the past – Thank you for your service! -- And feel free to stop by to see what's new for this year or take a refresher orientation tour. If you've never been inside the church – now's the time!! You're sure to learn some surprising things about Richmond's National Historic Landmark meeting house. And maybe you'll discover a volunteer opportunity that's right for you.
We hope to see you at the Round Church on May 20.
