The Hardwick Conservation Commission has hired Matt Peters, Environmental Consultant, to conduct this work. The NRI project will include surveying public and private lands within Hardwick (with landowner permission). Planning has begun and a final report to the community is expected in March 2024.

We will learn more about Hardwick's forest lands, waterways, plant communities and animal habitats—what we have and where. This report will be a "baseline" document to guide conservation efforts and inform planning for development.

The HCC invites the to community to this Kick-Off event to

* Answer your questions about the project
* Provide input about Hardwick's "special places" and other "local lore" to help Matt plan his work

The Hardwick Conservation Commission invites everyone to come, have refreshments and be part of this exciting project looking at the natural resources of the Town we love.
