Craft Project for Reproductive Rights
Judi Daly • Cobb Hill Rd, Waterbury

When: May 4, 2023, 4 to 6 PM

Recently I learned the word "craftivism." It is when we use crafting to address important topics. This post is a shout out to others who would like to try some craftivism.

Indivisible Mad River Valley, remains active in supporting reproductive rights and is joining Planned Parenthood in the creation of a quilt/banner project with supportive messages about Planned Parenthood and reproductive rights. NO SEWING or crafting experience required.

We are gathering on Thursday May 4th between 4 and 6 PM at the Moretown library to work on creating 8 1/2" squares for the "quilt." We will provide the squares, other supplies and inspirational examples. The completed squares will make their way to some dedicated volunteers that will sew them all together and organize places throughout the state for the completed "quilts" to be shown.
