Presenter's bio: Sue Williams, from Rowe, Massachusetts, has worked on mosses for over thirty years. She began with Howard Crum at Eagle Hill, and since then has studied and collected them all over the Northeast. About ten years ago she began drawing mosses and writing down the characters she uses to recognize them, and now has put them together in a book, The Ecological Guide to the Mosses and Common Liverworts of the Northeast, which will be published in April 2023.
Both events will take place at the UVM Horticulture Farm, 65 Green Mountain Drive, So. Burlington.
