Take Back the Night event in Montpelier on Saturday, May 13th! Take Back the Night is a global movement that started in the mid 1970's to raise awareness about sexual violence, make space for survivors' voices to be heard, and demand an end to gender based violence. This will be an afternoon-into-evening series of happenings to raise community awareness about sexual violence and show solidarity with survivors, including sign making, activities, and Woodbelly Pizza for sale at Bethany Church, a demonstration at the Main and State St. intersection, and an evening speak-out and candlelit vigil at the Tower in Hubbard Park.

Come to one or all of these portions of the event, everyone is welcome!
4-6pm Pre-march sign making & activities at Bethany Church - Woodbelly Pizza for sale!
6-7pm Downtown march and action - gather at Bethany Church
7-9pm Speakout & candlelit vigil at the Tuning Forks Stage in Hubbard
