Greetings! Just a reminder that Green Up Day is this Saturday, May 6. Thanks to the commitment of many wonderful volunteers, all of Duxbury's main roads are covered. We don't work on Route 100 for safety reasons and because the VT Agency of Transportation covers that state highway.
We will have a small kick off in the town meeting room at 9:00 a.m. where bagels, donated by Shaw's, will be served. The room will be open during the day with the bathroom available. We will also have Green Up bags if you haven't already picked them up or need more. Volunteers: dress appropriately, wear gloves, suitable footwear, and be careful to avoid ticks. STAY SAFE!
Bags are currently available in the black mailbox outside the Town Clerk's office. There is no roadside pick up so bring filled bags to the town garage/town clerk's office area and put in the dumpster. Please remember that Green Up is designated for roadside trash only, not personal household items, trash, or tires.
