Please join VFW Post 792 and the the non-profit organization Carry the Load (https://www.carrytheload.org/) for the Montpelier leg of their national relay. The organization walks across the U.S. during the month of May to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day and connect Americans to the sacrifices made by military, Veterans, first responders and their families.

The Montpelier leg takes place on Wednesday, 3 May at 630 pm. It is 3 miles (walking) and starts at the Capitol Steele and Supply Company (115 Junction by the water treatment plant), travels along the bike path, thru downtown and ends at VFW Post 792 (1 Pioneer St behind Flag and Stove Works).

We will end our leg of the relay with a BBQ (by donation) before the relay team heads out for Maine. Everyone is welcome to join us!
