An Easy Way to Visit the New England Quilt Museum
Middlebury's Milk & Honey Quilt Guild is offering a full-day field trip to the museum in Lowell, MA on Friday, May 12, 2023. The chartered bus will leave Middlebury at 7:00am and arrive at the quilt museum around 10:45am where the museum curator will lead a tour that will include the special exhibit "Quilts Japan". After lunch at a nearby restaurant, the bus will take the group a few miles down the road to the Bott Cotton Mills Museum. Estimated time back in Middlebury is 8:00pm. The bus seats are comfortable enough for a nap on the way home!
The cost for this trip is $85 for Milk and Honey Quilt Guild members and $100 for non-members. This includes bus fare, entrance to both museums and a delicious buffet lunch. The guild is subsidizing the cost of this trip to make it more affordable for everyone. Register now while there are still some seats available. Invite a friend to come along with you!
