Hula hoop, making , decorating, and dedication workshop

When you arrive, enjoy complementary refreshments, while you check out our hula hoop collection, play and learn a few moves. Fresh playlist provided!
Karla Jones (artist, hula hoop coach, & hoopsmith) will guide you to find the hoop size you wish to make.
Next, we gather for a demo on the materials and methods used for hula hoop making. You will construct a hoop that fits your body size. Then, decorate your creation with materials which increase weight, friction, and gorgeousness to enhance the Hooping experience!
We close with a dedication ceremony to infuse our sacred circles with intention, special meaning, purpose, or affirmation.
All age are welcome, but note: hoop making may not be appropriate for everyone, as it requires the use of tools and safety gear. Hoop decorating requires manual dexterity and patience.
We provide all the materials, tools, instruction, & space to hoop.
