Hello neighbors! I write to let you know about another fantastic FREE program from Vermont Works for Women (VWW), a fantastic local non-profit for which I am a board member.

VWW is offering Trailblazers in Chittenden County this summer! Trailblazers is a free training program to support the entry and success of women and gender-expansive individuals in the trades and renewable energy.

Participants will learn construction and renewable energy skills, get hands-on practice, and hear from folks in the trades about the many available jobs in these growing fields. Trailblazers will complete on-the-job internships with Vermont employers and receive ongoing job search support from VWW.

The upcoming free training will be held June 5 – July 20 at the Local Carpenter's Union on 5 Gregory Drive in South Burlington. Trailblazers is open to women and gender-expansive individuals ages 16+, no experience necessary!
