The Chittenden Solid Waste District's hazardous waste collection "Rover" is making a stop at the Town Garage in Westford (off of Huntley Rd.) Saturday, July 26, from 9 am-1 pm.
NOTE: The Rover is free and available to Chittenden County households only.
The Rover makes a stop in each town in Chittenden County once a year and accepts hazardous leftovers such as paints and stains, automotive fluids, hobby supplies, pesticides, fertilizers, household cleaners, beauty supplies, and anything with the words "Danger," "Caution," "Warning," or "Poison" on the label. Can't make it to the Rover? If you are a Chittenden County household, bring it to the Environmental Depot. It's open year-round and it's free! Environmental Depot, 1011 Airport Parkway, South Burlington. Wednesday-Friday 8-2; Saturday 8-3:30.
The Environmental Depot is available only to Chittenden County residents (free) and businesses (some fees apply).
