Wildfires in the US have caused billions of dollars' worth of damage and the loss of too many lives. Learn how this doesn't have to be the case. Filmed across the West and narrated by Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor David Oyelowo, the film (84 min) is a dramatic and often heartbreaking film that takes viewers on a journey with the top experts in the nation to better understand fire. The film includes the voices of climate experts, Indigenous people, firefighting professionals, and survivors who lost everything but their lives. The film will be followed by a discussion with the director where we'll explore the myths and realities of Wildfire in the American West and draw insights into current management of our Vermont forests.
