Green Up Day is next Saturday, May 6, and we will have green bags available for you on the Village Green starting at 9 AM! Events at the Green will be light this year, but we are happy to share that the Skate Park Committee will be hosting an event at the Skate Park from 12-2 PM, with snacks, prizes, and other fun activities happening. Final dropoff for green bags at the Green will be at 3 PM, but if you want to continue your Green Up after that time, you can leave your filled bags by the side of the road before the end of the weekend and our fantastic public works crew will pick them up!

As an aside, this will be my last year acting as Green Up Coordinator, so if anyone else is interesting in picking up the mantle going forward, please reach out and let me know! It's a great opportunity to give back and carry forward an amazing Vermont tradition into the future, and one I've enjoyed a lot over the past few years.
