Get your hands dirty for a good cause: Join the Vermont Land Trust to plant 1,000 trees!
While many Vermont farms raise cows, sheep, or goats, LedgEnd Farm is unique in that it raises fallow deer. This conserved farm in Middlebury is along the Muddy Branch. Planting trees along the waterway will increase wildlife habitat, reduce erosion and invasive species presence and improve water quality.
Join us on May 3, 9, 10, or 12 from 9 AM – 1 PM. We will have extra shovels and gloves, but if you have your own, please bring them. Also, consider bringing sturdy waterproof shoes, a sunhat, water, bug repellant, and snacks. We'll bring the trees and lots of gratitude!
