6.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million. Find out how to recognize the signs in yourself and others.

Join us for an educational session on Sunday, April 30th at 11:00 am at 899 Dorset St in the community hall. The session will include a short program on the 10 warning signs of dementia followed by a group conversation about:
· What is it like to be diagnosed, live, and care for someone with Alzheimer's or another dementia
· What services are available in Vermont and in your community
· Your ideas to make Chittenden County more dementia friendly
· How you can get involved with the fight to end Alzheimer's and all other dementias

This event is free and open to the public, including those with dementia. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.

Join Vermonters with Alzheimer's and other dementias, family caregivers, service providers, Alzheimer's Association staff, and community members to destigmatize dementia in Chittenden County. This event is sponsored by Faith United Methodist Church. The presentation and discussion will be facilitated by the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
