Hi, all...

This post is to let the Stowe community and surrounding region know that the SJF will be holding a little party/get-together on May 24th, from 6-8pm at Field Guide Lodge...

Why?

Well, after 7 years of the SJF (including surviving that pesky 'Plague' thing), it is time that we significantly moved the ball forward. We've been growing steadily as you know and yet we realize that there are many, many locals and businesses that just don't really know what we are trying to accomplish...and why. And that is our bad...so we're going to try to tell you all about....us. And why this event is so cool. What it is..why it is..

This 'meet and greet' shindig is open to the public - we'll answer questions, try to fill folks in on ways to engage and volunteer, paths to creatively support what has become a fixture here that brings Artists from many countries, cities across the USA and many of our fine Vermont musicians. We'll have over 100 musicians at 8 Stowe Venues over a period of 3 days...and as you know, the SJF is breaking a lot of 'normal' festival rules by being 100% free to the public. No tickets, no cover charges or parking fees. Bring your families and friends...support so many of our local businesses...and the Arts. You can afford it...'cause its...free. :)

And we'll even spring for the first round at Field Guide!

So if you are already supporting us in ANY way...whether it is with a donation, a business sponsorship, if you are a volunteer or intern...or, if you just plain love us and you come to the shows...well PLEASE come hang out on May 24th. We'd actually like to thank you...oh yeah...and we'll provide live music too!
