If you're looking to join a group on Green Up Day, come hang out with the Shires Young Professionals! We'll be picking up litter along the roads in Bennington and Pownal to green up our communities. The Bennington crew is meeting at the Coffee Bar, and the Pownal crew is meeting at the Jackson Cross/Maple Grove intersection. We'll meet at 8:30am, then (re)convene at about 10:30 at the Bennington Coffee Bar for an informal social afterward.
You don't need to be an SYP member to join us. Please bring water, work gloves, and sun protection, and wear sturdy shoes, long pants and bright clothing or a safety vest so you're visible on the road. It's rain or shine, but we'll cancel if there is severe weather.
