Craftstories at Town Hall

Past event
Apr 28, 2023, 4 to 5 PM

I've been working with Don Houghton and we are offering a place to talk at the Town Hall, to have an opportunity for each of us to share our personal history, "Craftstories". It will be really fun, we hope to have up to 5 people at a time. Our first session went great, thanks to all those that participated! Our 2nd session will be Friday, April 28th starting at 4 pm at the Town Hall.

Here are some thoughts to talk about, maybe jot down thoughts ahead of time if you can:

1. Greet; what's your name, where do you live?
2. When, why did your family come to Craftsbury?
3. What do you do in Craftsbury?
4. Is there anything in your mind about Craftsbury that makes it stand apart from other places you might choose to live in?
5. Is there a story about you/your family living in Cbury that you'd like to tell?

We will use the Zoom Owl to record for the Craftsbury Historical Society's YouTube page.

It will be about an hour, but it's really just neighbors talking with neighbors. The truth is, we are all part of Craftsbury, both the history and the future of Craftsbury. Our story matters, and it's fun! I'll even have pretzels and ice tea :)

If there is another day of the week that works better for you, let me know. If you can make it Friday, please just email me at warrensvt@gmail.com to let me know. I'm going to try and keep to just the first five people that respond. We will be having other sessions later, will keep you posted!
